Flow of People is a representation of the utilization of space. It focuses on discovering the movement of people as an interpretative extension of oneself.
By starting with the given; people utilizing space, I learned to understand how to abstract an idea such as movement. Creating new paths to follow while respecting the expected allows an exciting exploration of people and how they move.
This movement inspired the idea of “grid vs. flow,” where the world is a grid-like structure, and people flow through and around it. I connected this idea to my own ideas of architecture, where buildings are sturdy and expected while the people in them are unpredictable.
