Welcome!
My name is Leah Wolter, and I recently graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Architecture. While my academic background is rooted in architecture, I have a deep passion for all things creative. During my final semester, I focused my research on architectural model-making materials and their diverse applications, culminating in a publication on the subject.
At Iowa State, I was actively involved in the AIAS chapter, where I served on the executive board for three years, primarily as the Freedom by Design chair. Freedom by Design is an AIAS initiative that empowers students to leverage their architectural skills to serve their communities. The program addresses five key barriers: physical, educational, environmental, socio-economic, and cultural, through design-build and engagement solutions.
Creativity is the cornerstone of my pursuits. I revel in hands-on projects and love experimenting with different materials and techniques. Continuously seeking to expand my horizons, I am always eager to push boundaries and embrace new challenges.
