WELCOME!
My name is Leah Wolter, and I’m a designer with a Bachelor of Architecture and professional experience that builds on and extends my architectural education. I currently work as a Project Designer for an architectural supplier, where I create detailed drawings and work on projects from early conceptual stages through to final production. My background in architecture and my experience in hands-on, community-focused design continue to shape the way I approach problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity in my work today.
While my academic foundation is in architecture, my passion extends to all things creative. At Iowa State, I was actively involved in the AIAS chapter, where I served on the executive board for three years, primarily as the Freedom by Design chair. Freedom by Design is an AIAS initiative that empowers students to leverage their architectural skills to serve their communities. The program addresses five key barriers: physical, educational, environmental, socio-economic, and cultural, through design-build and engagement solutions.
Creativity is the cornerstone of my pursuits. I revel in hands-on projects and love experimenting with different materials and techniques. Continuously seeking to expand my horizons, I am always eager to push boundaries and embrace new challenges.
